CEO, President, Secretary and Director
Charles MaLette was an Investment Advisor for more than 35 years with Canaccord Genuity Corp. He retired from Canaccord Genuity Corp. in December 2018. He has many years investing and financing in, and analyzing and reviewing public companies in various industries.
Mr. MaLette has been the Chief Executive Officer, President and a Director of Stevens Gold since 2018. Mr. MaLette graduated from the University of Calgary in 1970 with a degree in Economics. After receiving a teaching degree from the University of British Columbia in 1972 he taught high school for 9 years in Vancouver, B.C. Mr. MaLette joined Canaccord Genuity Corp. in 1983 as an Investment Advisor and resigned in December 2 to become the CEO and director of Core Process Solutions Inc. Mr. MaLette is also a director and secretary of the B.C. Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders Association.
Mark Scott has spent his entire career in technology and innovation. He has been a founder and director of private companies in the past. His focus for the last six years has been in nano technology and food science. He has founded two companies in this sector, including SureNano Science, the first publicly traded company in which he is a director. His primary goals in his work with SureNano Science are to create the foundation for safe and effective consumer products. Within the Cannabis industry, he appreciates the chance to work with innovative companies who are defining the future of how people consume and interact with cannabis whether it be for medical or recreational purposes.
CFO and Director
Retired Chartered Accountant and Certified Internal Auditor with over 40 years experience . Held senior management positions with US Plywood, Dillingham Corporation, Air Canada, and BC Hydro. Extensive experience in income tax planning, budgeting, financial statement presentations and business valuations.
Peter Chapman obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree (Geology) and a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of British Columbia. He has practiced law in Vancouver, British Columbia for over 40 years and has experience in a wide variety of legal areas including litigation and corporate law and commercial law. His primary area of practice for the past 30 years has been Canadian immigration and citizenship law and he has frequently travelled to Asia relation to that practice.
George has over 30 years of hands-on leadership experience in sales, marketing, business/markets development and intra and external organizational management. He has held business responsibilities for B2B direct and channel sales programs exceeding $100M in market revenues and has executed these programs for organizations ranging from technology start-ups to global entities with revenues exceeding $1billion annual revenues.
Mr. Sidhu is the founder of Core Separations, a CO2 technology and equipment company focused on natural products processing. He was the General Manager of Purification Business Operations at Waters (NYSE: WAT) after its acquisition of Thar Instruments. He was the co-founder of Thar Instruments and in his role as President managed company’s growth to be the largest supplier of CO2 instrumentation, supercritical extraction and chromatography, in the world with operations in North America, Europe and Asia. Customers included multi-national pharmaceutical and specialty chemicals companies, government, universities, industry research and development organizations. His 25+ years of experience in supercritical equipment design, development and manufacturing includes patents, diverse product portfolio and role as Program Director of Waters’ UPC2 analytical chromatography system.
Juan Eduardo Cacace, M.Sc.,
Chemist – Senior Research and Development Specialist
Mr. Cacace is a specialist with a unique background combining engineering and food science with broad expertise in research, product development and food processing. Management, supervision and consulting experience. He has a technical background on extraction of bioactives from plant biomasses, post harvest and processing of fruits and vegetables, preparation of ready-to-eat products, and modified atmosphere packaging of foods. He has published papers in refereed journals and technical bulletins, as well as filed numerous Patents. He received a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering, from the University of La Plata, La Plata, Buenos Aires, Argentina. He completed his Master of Science from the University of Manitoba.
